What’s Included in a 5-STI Rapid Test for Women and Why It’s Important
June 15, 2026 • 4 MIN READ
Sexual health screenings aren’t just for when something feels “off.” Many sexually transmitted and vaginal infections can be present without obvious symptoms, especially in women. Regular testing helps catch infections early—before they affect your health, fertility, or quality of life.
Our 5-STI Rapid Test for Females offers fast, reliable screening for five common infections, all in one convenient visit.
What is the 5-STI Rapid Test for Females?
This screening is designed for sexually active women who want quick answers, privacy, and peace of mind. Using in-house rapid tests, results are available faster than traditional laboratory testing.
This test is commonly recommended if you:
- Are sexually active with new or multiple partners
- Experience unusual discharge, itching, odor, or discomfort
- Don’t consistently use condoms
- Are planning a pregnancy
- Haven’t had recent STI screening—even if you feel fine

What’s included in the test?
This screening checks for five STIs and vaginal infections:
1. HIV (4th Generation Test)
The HIV 4th generation test detects both HIV antibodies and p24 antigen, allowing earlier detection after exposure.
Why it matters: Early diagnosis allows for timely treatment, helps protect partners, and supports long-term health.

2. Syphilis (RPR Test)
This test screens for syphilis, a bacterial infection that may start with mild or unnoticed symptoms.
Why it matters: Untreated syphilis can cause serious complications and may affect pregnancy outcomes if undiagnosed.

3. Hepatitis B
This test checks for Hepatitis B infection, which can be transmitted through sexual contact and blood exposure.
Why it matters: Chronic Hepatitis B can lead to long-term liver problems if not detected early.

4. Chlamydia Trachomatis & Neisseria Gonorrhea (CTNG)
This combined test screens for chlamydia and gonorrhea, two very common STIs in women.
Why it matters: Many women don’t experience symptoms, but untreated infections can lead to pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), chronic pelvic pain, and fertility issues.

5. Candidiasis, Trichomonas, & Gardnerella Vaginalis (CTG)
This test screens for common causes of vaginal infections:
- Candidiasis (Yeast Infection)
- Trichomoniasis
- Gardnerella Vaginalis (associated with bacterial vaginosis)
Why it matters: These infections often cause discharge, itching, odor, or discomfort—but symptoms can overlap. Testing helps ensure accurate diagnosis and proper treatment, not guesswork.

Why is this screening important for women?
- Many STIs and vaginal infections are asymptomatic
- Early detection prevents complications affecting fertility and pregnancy
- Symptoms of different infections often look the same
- Protects both your health and your partner’s
