What’s Included in a 4-STI Rapid Test for Men — and Why It Matters

Getting tested for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) doesn’t mean something is wrong—it means you’re taking care of your health and your partners. Many STIs don’t show symptoms right away, which is why regular screening is one of the smartest things you can do.

Our 4-STI Rapid Test for Males offers fast, reliable screening for four common and important infections. All in one visit.

What is the 4-STI Rapid Test for Males?

This screening is designed for sexually active men who want quick answers and peace of mind. It uses in-house rapid tests, meaning results are available much faster compared to traditional lab testing.

It’s commonly recommended if you:

  • Are sexually active with new or multiple partners
  • Don’t consistently use condoms
  • Have never been tested before
  • Are starting a new relationship
  • Have mild symptoms—or no symptoms at all

What’s included in the test?

This screening checks for four STIs:

1. HIV (4th Generation Test)

The HIV 4th generation test detects both HIV antibodies and p24 antigen, allowing for earlier detection compared to older tests.

Why it matters: Early diagnosis allows for early treatment, which helps people with HIV live long, healthy lives and reduces the risk of transmission.

2. Syphilis (RPR Test)

The RPR test screens for syphilis, a bacterial infection that often starts with painless sores and can progress silently if untreated.

Why it matters: Untreated syphilis can lead to serious complications affecting the heart, brain, and nerves.

3. Hepatitis B

This test checks for Hepatitis B infection, a virus that affects the liver and can be transmitted through sexual contact.

Why it matters: Hepatitis B can become chronic and lead to liver damage, cirrhosis, or liver cancer if not detected early.

4. Chlamydia Trachomatis & Neisseria Gonorrhea (CTNG)

This combined test screens for chlamydia and gonorrhea, two of the most common STIs.

Why it matters: Many men don’t experience symptoms, but untreated infections can cause complications and easily spread to partners.

Why is this screening important?

  • Most STIs don’t cause symptoms right away
  • Early detection means simpler and more effective treatment
  • Protects current and future partners
  • Gives you clarity and peace of mind

Regular testing is part of responsible sexual health—walang dapat ikahiya.

How to prepare for the test

Preparation is simple, but important:

  • Avoid urinating for at least 1–2 hours before the test (especially for CTNG)
  • No fasting required
  • Avoid antibiotics unless prescribed (tell your provider if you’re currently taking any)
  • Be honest about recent sexual activity so providers can guide you properly

What happens after the test?

  • Results are available quickly due to in-house rapid testing and will be sent to you via Hati Health digitally.
  • If results are positive, a healthcare provider will guide you on treatment and next steps
  • If results are negative, you’ll receive advice on when to test again based on your risk level

Take control of your sexual health

STI testing is about prevention, protection, and peace of mind—not judgment. If you’re unsure or just want to be safe, this 4-STI Rapid Test is a smart place to start.
