Adults, the elderly, and children over 12 years:

Take one 400mg capsule up to three times a day, as needed. The capsules should be swallowed with a glass of water, preferably with or after food.

Do not take more than every 4 hours and do not exceed 3 capsules in 24 hours.

This medication is intended for short-term use only. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration necessary to relieve symptoms.

For adults:

Do not use Ibuprofen 400mg Softgel Capsules for more than 10 days unless directed by your doctor. Consult a doctor or pharmacist if symptoms do not improve, worsen, or new symptoms develop.

For children and adolescents aged 12 to 18 years:

Consult a doctor if this medicine is needed for more than 3 days or if symptoms worsen.

Do not administer to children under 12 years of age.
