• Preferably 8 - 12 hours fasting (10-12 hours fasting if test request includes other test/s like Lipid Profile);
• Note: If fasting is below 8 hours or more than 12 hours, note down in clinical information, e.g. 15 hours fasting patient insisted or with doctor’s consent to proceed.
• Patient is required to consume the entire amount of the specially-formulated glucose solution within a 5-minute period.
