No patient preparation necessary. TB GeneXpert requires sputum (phlegm) and doctor's request.

Note: The test is intended for patients who have not yet taken anti-TB medication or have taken it for less than three days in the past six months. If you are currently taking or have previously taken anti-TB medication, consult your doctor to determine whether testing is appropriate. Anti-TB therapy may affect the test results.
