Test Requirements

Do not wear clothes with buttons or with rubberized material prior to the procedure instead. Please wear any color plain T-shirt.
Patient must notify the Radiologic Technologist if she is pregnant or suspecting to be pregnant.
If patient is on her menstrual cycle, advise her that the best time to have a mammogram is 7 to 10 days after the 1st day of menstruation when the breasts are less tender. If patient can tolerate the pain, then she can proceed.
Schedule appointment on the 5th day of menstrual cycle. For post menopausal patient, the procedure can be carried out on any day
Do not apply any deodorant, body lotion, perfume, or talcum powder to the breast area.
Bring any old Mammogram images and results available.
